Russell House is a bright, modern home to adults with epilepsy combined with multiple learning disabilities. Residents are very active and enjoy a wide range of activities that encourage social-interaction - their staff team empower them to do as much as they can.
As a Team Leader, you will be an active, positive and supportive member of the service's management team and promote and maintain high standards of care and support within the service, through effective leadership and empowerment of shift leaders, support workers and residents/clients. You will ensure that quality of care practice and support is maintained; that appropriate policies and protocols are in place in line with clinical governance and that you support a culture of learning, support and engagement with the staff team, ensuring that appropriate staffing levels are maintained as per the staffing model.
You will have proven and demonstrable experience working both as a Support Worker and Shift Leader, along with the ability to plan, organise and develop staff; good time management skills and experience of multidisciplinary team working. You will have achieved QCF L3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, or be willing to work towards it.
