You will be working for a organisation that has 15 well established years providing care and support to Adults with learning disabilities. This organisation are looking for a reliable, dedicated and experience Support Worker to join a team that has molded to ensure the best possible care to all service users. The home is in an ideal location in the centre of Droitwich with easy access for both service users and members of staff to all local services.
Your new role
You will be working as a Support Worker within a residential home that is currently caring for 5 Adult service users with learning disability. Your role will include ensuring that the service users needs are fully met and exceeded based on care plans. activities and health and safety requirements. You will be part of a large, well established pool of staff who pride themselves on ensuring service users are prioritised above their only needs and interested.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in working in a similar environment where you were required to care and support for service users with learning disabilities. Whether, this was on a one to one basis or within a group. The ideal candidate will also have completed a minimum of your NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, and where possible, all your mandatory training will be up to date and you will have certificates to support this.
