We are currently recruiting for a number of Children's Support Workers to join a growing team in a residential setting for Children and Young People who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs.
The main purpose of the role is to assist the Shift Leaders, Deputy Manager and Registered Manager in providing an emotionally secure, consistent, warm, supportive and caring environment for the young people and to encourage their social, physical, emotional, intellectual and moral development so that they may realise their own potential.
Furthermore, to work to high professional standards of care, control and supervision.
This role also requires personal care.
Salary is a basic pay of £18,000 + £75 per sleep.
However, if you have the NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People you will start on a basic pay of £19,000 + £75 per sleep.
Shift patterns are on a 2 week rolling rota. Week 1 - 4 days on, 3 days off. Week 2 - 3 days on, 4 days off - working one weekend in two
Doing at least 1 sleep a week is desirable, which would be paid at an extra £75 per sleep.
If you are interested in Waking Watches - there are also full time positions for this on a shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off. Working from the hours of 10:30pm - 9:00am.
My Client is looking for people who have 2 years recent experience working in the care industry. Experience working with LD and Autism with Children is desirable.
