We support 2 gentleman who have a learning disability and live in our service in Norton, Stockton-On-Tees. We are looking to grow our team of enthusiastic, fun honest and reliable support workers.
Both gentleman require different levels support with personal care daily.
Both gentleman have good communication skills and clearly make their needs known. AB likes to use pictorial planning for his daily activities. Staff supporting at Church Land Gardens need to know the people well. GB and AB have support plans that offer information on how they like to be supported in most aspects of their lives which identify who, and what is important to them.

Supporting someone with their daily life is not a 9-5 job. You will need to be able to work across a range of different days and shift patterns, including some sleep in shifts (Payment for sleep ins is competitive and compliant with National Living Wage requirements). We realise that your quality time is important too, so your rota is prepared well in advance - Got a request, something special going on? Your manager will certainly try to help you meet it.
