To undertake study to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) professional standards for: Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting)

Are you a dynamic hardworking and innovative staff nurse working in the NHS? Are you ready to become a student again? We are currently able to offer permanent contracts and funding for course fees in preparation for taking on a key role in delivering health support for children and families in Lothian.

On appointment to this student Health Visitor role NHS Lothian will offer -

Successful applicants will be a student Health Visitor (band 5) during the course and on successful completion of the programme and registration on Part 3 of the NMC register you will progress to a substantive band 6 Health Visiting post within NHS Lothian. Graduates will be expected to consolidate practice within NHS Lothian for two years post registration.

To apply you will need to:

-Be free to undertake study commencing September 2018 or January 2019. Be available for interview process 30th April to 4th May 2018

-Have appropriate academic credit rating/or evidence recent study

-Apply by 30th March 2018 to both: NHS Lothian and QMU.
