Right now, we’re looking for a talented Strategic Business Partner to drive IT leadership to our core business on how technology can help meet their goals.
Our Digital Technology function provides the technology that’s powering eon’s revolution. As a pivotal role in this function you’ll lead and develop approaches that enable us to achieve business goals by prioritising and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies and solutions.
You’ll provide your expertise to understand key business issues and drive technology roadmaps in collaboration with the technical team. You’ll maximise the value of investments to achieve the greatest return for the business function as well as communicating the business function strategy & intentions to the whole IT community to ensure full visibility
As a leader you will help enable our technology vision by ensuring you are a primary liaison for the UK senior leadership. Crucially, you’ll take ownership of part of the business IT roadmap that delivers our business outcomes as defined by the business strategy.

Extensive experience managing business engagement & demand management
Previous experience working in the Information Technology Industry
Strong networker and relationship builder at all levels particularly with key decision makers and influencers levels.
Undertake advocacy for IT with Business and Vice-versa
Developed business function IT strategies that deliver demonstrable returns and value.
Excellent commercial experience encompassing budget management.
Demonstrable experience in planning & organisation
Ability to apply technology solutions to business challenges
Demonstrable skills in developing IT solutions to meet business needs
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills – able to effectively engage a non- technical audience on key technical issues.
Superior analytical & problem solving skills.
Experience in strategic technology planning and execution.
It would be great if you had:
An understanding of the energy sector in terms of structure, regulatory environment and the short and long-term issues affecting the industry
