Easy Apply

A small, well-established software company is looking for a VB6 Software Developer to join their team in delightful Shoreham by Sea.

Specialising in time and attendance and workforce management software, they sell their products in the UK and Australia through a number of distributors, so the actual team is a small group of developers. They currently have a team of four, looking to expand to six - so if a big company is your thing, they're not for you.

They need someone to help them with their desktop software which is currently in use every day by over 500 companies. Ideally, the right candidate will evolve to take full ownership of the product; not just chasing down bugs but adding new features and enhancements, dealing with technical support enquiries from their 3 UK partners (not end users) and managing new releases.

About you:

  • Expertise of working with VB6 and MSSQL is essential
  • Able to bring your own imagination and creativity to help them deliver the best products for their customers
  • Experience of C#/Javascript/asp.net would be useful, but not essential.
  • Happy working on solo projects and team efforts

Why Apply?

They are a micro company and believe their size is an asset. Everyone is valued, appreciated, and essential. Everyone has a voice and an opinion. They have also been trading and profitable for 13 years, and are looking forward to the next 13. And finally, they're able to reward the right people - now and in the long term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take something successful and established and make it your own!
