A brilliant job opportunity has arisen to join an excellent secondary school in Cardiff working as a SIMS Administrator. The school has great facilities and a fantastic learning environment. The school caters for up to 950 pupils.
Your new role
As the new SIMS Administrator your primary responsibilities will be to manage the school information systems (SIMS). You will need to handle phone calls, manage enquiries and assist reception. You will need to update databases and make sure filling is in order, correct and safe. You will need to be able to handle enquires from staff, parents and stakeholders. You will also be responsible for the general Administrative duties. You will be part of a small team consisting of 3 people. This Job is starting ASAP on an on-going temporary basis with the option of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be working up to 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate will need have experience using the SIMS system. Previous school-based office experience is essential. You must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment and have a DBS in hand or be willing to do a new up to date DBS check. You will also need to be well organised and have good written and verbal communication. Attendance experience is preferable.
