Senior Systems Development Manager - Music Merchandise

Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Systems Development Manager to work for a highly established global music merchandise solutions business.

As Senior Systems Development Manager, you will be presented with an exciting and unique opportunity to gain full 24/7 ownership of systems from design and architecture through development, deployment and on-going dev-ops.

• Being responsible for implementing the management teams' vision of our business systems, in support of many of the world's most popular artists & musicians e-commerce and merchandise sales functions.
• Your technical skills and experience will be broad and deep, enabling you to manage a small, but highly skilled team, whilst being a leader in an agile and dynamic environment.
• Communicate with both non-technical and technical staff alike to translate business needs into technical specifications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• System Administration:
  Configuration, deployment, securing and ongoing management of Microsoft Windows Servers in an AD environment using both 3rd party supplied dedicated servers and virtual servers in Microsoft Azure.

1. Windows Server 2012 R2+
2. Active Directory
3. Distributed File System
4. DNS
5. SSL certificate creation & management
6. IIS configuration & management

• DBA:
  Highly experienced in Microsoft SQL Server design and architecture, and as a minimum, have used the following features in a production environment.

1. SQL Server Agent
2. Stored Procedures (incl CLR)
3. User defined functions
4. Triggers
5. SQL Server Broker
6. SSRS

• Development:
  You will have worked in a development role and be highly skilled with the following tools & languages;

1. Microsoft Visual Studio 2017+
2. Server side - C#, MVC, Blazor, .Net Framework & .Net core, console applications, Restful API - design, deployment and consumption, classic ASP\VB Script.
3. Frontend - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, page design and usability.
4. Data - MSSQL RDBMS using Entity Framework and strong json and XML.
5. Reporting - Microsoft Report Builder (for SSRS)

• DevOps
  You will be experienced with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev-ops via GIT.
• External Tools\Services
  Ideally you will have experience of at least one or more of the following external platforms;

1. Shopify
2. Spreedly
3. Xero
4. Despatch Cloud
5. Music chart reporting
