Senior Sales & Marketing Manager - Japanese Speaking

An outstanding opportunity to be mentored by a founder of this established, successful specialist trading house, with a clear and defined path to assuming a Director-level role within 2 years.

In this hybrid role, with 3 days per week based in an office in a leafy but accessible (road/rail) corner of Hertfordshire, you'll be given the knowledge, skills and expertise to lead the sales and marketing effort in a global, high profile industry. 

You'll join in a senior sales and marketing function, leading the management and development of existing partner accounts as well as the acquisition of new partners and ultimately orders, all against clear targets. You will also lead and engage a team, ensuring quality measures are met as well as those all important targets. Regular travel to meet partners and attend trade shows is another essential part of the role.

A native level speaker of Japanese, you will ideally have working within a Japanese trading house environment to quickly understand the environment and processes. If not then a commercial leadership background is a must alongside the Japanese language skills. You will also be a fluent English speaker, able to work with European customers and partners as well as Japanese management and contacts.
