Reporting into the Procurement Manager, the role of Senior Buyer will be to support the Procurement Manager in the design, implementation and delivery of the procurement strategy, procurement policies and sourcing strategies across all goods and services spend areas. Working across a range of categories, you will take the lead in managing procurement projects and be responsible for engaging with stakeholders as well as suppliers and ensuring relationships are developed.
The successful candidate will need to have prior experience in managing full end to end tenders as well as ensuring best value is delivered. The role also requires someone who has worked within a regulated environment before and who has experience of working to OJEU regulations as well as a strong understanding of contract law and legislation. Excellent communication and negotiating skills are also required.
