This role is within the public sector in a lively, friendly environment.
As a Senior Accounts Assistant you will be managing a team of four mixed hours staff. Therefore, some prior management or supervisory experience will be required. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Within the role you will process bank reconciliations and run both sales and purchase ledger. The business does handle petty cash on a frequent basis and you will be responsible for running the daily incoming and outgoing cash flow. This position will also include a small amount of credit control. The ideal person will also have had experience of annual audits.
This position will include an element of customer service both face to face and via the telephone. If you have had experience in a customer facing role previous this would be of benefit.
