If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst.

We are working with a leading provider of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, dedicated to protecting our clients' digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their critical information. As a SOC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security posture of our organization and defending against cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security systems, networks, and applications to identify potential security incidents.
  • Analyze and investigate security events and incidents using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Respond to security incidents promptly, containing and mitigating the impact to minimize downtime and loss.
  • Conduct threat hunting activities to identify hidden threats and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement proactive security measures.
  • Maintain and update security incident management documentation and reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to enhance incident response capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • Proven experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Proficiency in analyzing security logs, events, and network traffic to identify potential threats.
  • Familiarity with various cyber attack vectors and the ability to perform incident response activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC certifications are highly desirable.
