Sales & Marketing Executive

Sink Pong are seeking an energetic, driven and astute Sales & Marketing Executive to join our expanding team. We are entering an exciting period of expansion so a willingness to go the extra mile is a must!

The successful candidate will be proactive and intuitive in all areas of the role. As this is a sales role a good level of self-motivation will be required with good bonuses offered for those who succeed in this position.

Experience in the hospitality sector is essential with a proven track record in sales. We would be particularly keen to meet a candidate who has worked in an expanding chain with knowledge in how to increase the size of the business.

Key Sales Tasks:

  • Grow sales across he business, exploiting all areas of the business and upselling packages
  • Business Development – finding regular clients who we can develop relationships with
  • Reactive sales – we have busy phone lines! Ensure all enquiries are dealt with for a maximum conversation rate
  • Work towards pre-set targets
  • Arrange and conduct venue show rounds
  • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner

In addition you will be expected to assist with marketing and events activities including:

  • Manage social media, posting relevant live content
  • Manage the website, posting the latest content, writing blogs etc
  • Produce content for social media/website including video/photography/articles
  • Update the promotional street team on the latest activities
  • Provide innovative and exciting ideas for marketing the venue and generating interest
  • Put on exciting ticketed events that will attract late trade
  • Ensure listings websites are updated on a regular basis
  • Maintain the brand throughout online and physical platforms
  • Ensure the operations team are informed of event details for all bookings with run sheets filled out to make sure the customer receives the experience they expect
  • Ensure invoices are sent/received and paid

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of sales in the hospitality sector
  • An approachable and friendly personality
  • Ability to liaise well with all departments
  • Previous experience working with budgets and KPIs
  • Foresight to anticipate where the business needs an additional push
  • Create and implement sales plans and understand where the growth will come from
  • Ideally have a “little black book” of contacts for private and public events
  • Confident in the use of social media and digital marketing to drive sales
  • Strong IT Skills and the ability to manage the website
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours. This isn’t a 9-5 job and you will be required to work some weekends and evenings. During the critical busy periods you may have to work longer hours.
