This very interesting opportunity has been created with this market leading manufacturer of Fluid Flow for applications in the water, waste, and other sectors.
This high profile position reports directly to the Sales Director and has been created with this division of one of the market leading manufacturer of Fluid Flow Systems, due to expansion and company development. The company manufactures Systems for the clean water, waste water, water treatment, sewage, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, nuclear, industrial, process, food, beverage, commercial and associated markets.
The principal function of the Sales Manager is to secure profitable business for through specification based sales with selected key accounts, in order to achieve or ideally exceed defined sales targets, within the cost budget.
- Achieving KPI targets for turnover, margin and aged debt management.
- Maintaining and developing sales to Water Utility Accounts, Contractors and Consultants
- Responsibility for maintaining the current customer base with high focus on business development by identifying and developing new accounts.
- Maintain regular customer contact with the overall purpose of developing the relationship and business with and increasing share of wallet.
- Completion of SAP CRM diary & customer records.
- Participate in ad hoc tasks defined by the line manager.
- Competitor monitoring and updates on their product releases / upgrades
- To maintain customer relationship, out of hours work / entertaining / travel is anticipated
The Sales Managers role requires a flexible individual who has a good balance between sales, marketing and technical skills. Experience of Dealing with a specification type of sell is important and that individuals have a good technical background in a similar field. It is also important that individuals have good relationship building skills as there will be a lot of liaison with many different customers and divisional colleagues (Sales, Marketing & Engineering)
Any experience of the following:- EPC’s, Water Utilities, Water Authorities Water, Waste Water, Sewage, Water Treatment, Water Utilities, Clean water, drainage, Main Contractors, Equipment, Valves, Pumps, Filters, Filtration Systems, Control panels, Pressure vessels, associated pipes & pipe work, storage tanks, biogas ,sewage treatment systems, environmental engineering, wastewater products or services, Utilities, including Electricity, Gas, underground networks, Civil Engineering, Building, including, Roads, Rail, Structures, Clean Water, Waste Water, Regeneration and Infrastructure, Earthworks, ground modelling, Marine works, Flood prevention, Surfacing, Lighting, Brickwork substructures could help but full training will be provided.
The Sales Managers role could suit an individual with any of the following background Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Sales Executive, Business Development Manager etc
