Your new role
The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, prospecting and successfully converting port cluster opportunities from both existing and new customers, making sure to maximise growth opportunities. You will regularly meet with and present to Freight Forwarders, import and export cargo owners, agents and Shipping Lines to identify all opportunities for new business. Negotiating pricing, contractual terms and SLA's with existing and new customers and ensuring all agreements are correctly contracted are key responsibilities of the job.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in b2b new business sales, along with experience in the negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements. Experience within the shipping or supply chain industries are ideal, and excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required.
