Naturals when it comes to making conversation and at their best when thinking on their feet. As one of our sales advisors, whether you’re taking or making calls, you can be sure every conversation will be different - and every day will bring a new challenge.

You’ll be at your happiest talking to people. Whether you’re calling customers to tell them about the latest products and services, or taking calls from customers who want to upgrade or change their packages, you’ll ask the right questions to help customers find the perfect BT package to suit their lifestyle.

You don’t need years of contact centre experience to join the team; just a positive approach to work, a flair for making conversation and some experience of working in a customer-facing environment or working to targets.

To be a brilliant Sales Advisor, you’ll need to have:

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Resilience and empathy
  • A professional telephone manner
  • The drive to work to targets and a commitment to getting the job done

Generally, our centres are open between 8am and 10pm, 365 days a year including bank holidays.Shifts could be any time during these hours.Whilst we'll give you notice of your shifts in advance you'll need to be available during these hours. Over a 10-week period, people usually work the following shifts - six Saturdays, two Sundays and 25 evening shifts. If you work part-time, the number of evenings and weekends you would work will be reduced.

Our training period for Sales Advisors is 5 weeks and runs from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. If you apply for a part-time role, you will need to be available to work these hours for the training period. Your part time hours will start after your training period finishes.
