Role: Reporting & Performance Manager (retail energy)

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Reporting & Performance Manager to join a new entrant to the energy market, who are creating a unique type of supply business for residents and businesses within the Portsmouth area. The Reporting & Performance Manager will create and develop a series of reports across multiple IT and telephony systems to inform and monitor current performance and budget, forecast future work volumes and staff requirements and identify and prioritise key improvement opportunities and customer satisfaction.   • Full involvement and understanding in the creation of the Customer Service Operations
  • Understand current reporting functionality across multiple IT & telephony systems
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers to understand their systems and reporting functions
  • Develop reporting across all systems to provide enhanced performance monitoring
  • Analyse reports to identify and prioritise areas for improvement to support Operations
  • Using own initiative analyse opportunities to deliver outstanding service
  • Be an integral player in the leadership team, motivating staff across operational teams
  • Develop customer satisfaction metrics to inform process improvement

Skills and experience

  • Proven track record of report writing and management in the energy industry, with related qualifications or training (e.g. SEQL, VBA, Business Analysis, 6 Sigma, Lean, Prince, Agile)
  • Understanding of, and ability to work across, the broader Retail Energy Industry Operations
  • Excellent leadership, team building and motivational experience
  • Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude working to tight deadlines
  • Energy regulation knowledge, understanding and experience
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement lean processes
