What is this role?
We are looking for a proactive and business focussed individual to join our HR team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of maternity leave. Reporting to a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be results focused and with demonstrable commercial awareness.
The main focus of this role is to provide employee relations advice on areas such as performance management, absence, disciplinary, grievance and flexible working. You will be responsible for specific business units within RSR and as such, multi-site experience, together with the ability to deal with remotely based managers, will be advantageous.
This role will provide opportunities for you to influence business performance by working with senior managers to help implement HR initiatives to help improve employee productivity, retention and turnover. Additionally you may be required to undertake ad-hoc projects that might involve:
• Employee morale and engagement
• Reward management
• Handling of organisational change, which may include TUPE issues and restructuring of our business services
What can REED offer me in return?
You will receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, the chance to buy, sell and carry over holiday, paid sabbaticals after every 5 years of service, long standing service awards, a discount scheme, pension, season ticket loans, access to health insurance, free eye tests, personal development schemes, paid rewards for innovative ideas, childcare vouchers and many many more!
Who would suit this role?
You will need to be extremely well organised and IT literate, and attention to detail is critical due to the nature of the work. You can expect to be challenged so we are looking for a proactive individual who can work autonomously and is confident with face to face meetings and presentations.
Ideally you will be fully CIPD qualified (or equivalent) or currently working towards attaining this qualification.
