We are looking to recruit a permanent Project Manager for a Social Housing contract based in Nottingham. Our Client is a National Social Housing Contractor looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage their new project covering Nottingham.
This is large scale refurbishment of local authority housing stock. Reporting to a Project Director, you will have direct responsibility for running the External Works project and looking after the Site Manager and Site Supervisors / Team.
Our Client is a fast growing company and part of a very successful group. Their work encompasses large scale refurbishments, improvement works, new build regeneration schemes and in particular EWI projects. This role has become available due to the Client securing several new contracts in the Midlands. They deliver their services through dedicated, single Client teams and operate on a National scale.
You must have a recent proven track record Project Managing Social Housing contracts, with experience in M & E, Brick Slips and Cladding projects and ideally coming from an electrical background although this is not essential.
The role requires a focused Project Manager who is organised, methodical and computer literate. The ability to make decisions quickly and "think on your feet" are essential along with the ability to work under pressure. This is a live project with residents on site and as such, the successful candidate must be personable, considerate and able to deal with sometimes irate customers.
The Client is offering a salary of £45-£50k and the opportunity to work with one of the most up and coming Social Housing Contractors in the Midlands. This permanent position is due to start in March 2018 and would be looking at setting up interviews as soon as possible.
