Project Coordinator for Research Centre within a University- Immediate start!

Our client, a renowned institute, has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join their education department on a temporary basis. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for dealing with the allocation of funds for scholarships as well as the provision of administrative support for education projects and activities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with the desire to work in an administrative role with an element of creativity. The Project Coordinator will be an excellent multitasker, with a working background ideally in research, higher education, membership or charity sectors.

Project Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries, process applications and maintain accurate financial records

  • Support the production of online and print communication platforms to ensure information is updated and made available to relevant audiences

  • Implement and deliver communication platforms for the dissemination of research conducted by individuals funded by the institute

  • Support the implementation and delivery of programmes, including keeping accurate database records, formatting submissions and updating website information

  • Supporting coordination of short courses and conferences

  • Deal with telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries from students, graduates and academics and practitioners

  • Ability to organise and arrange events

  • Complete ad hoc administrative duties as and when required

Project Coordinator Key Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in administrative and/ or financial roles

  • Excellent Financial budgeting skills as you would be responsible for overseeing multiple budgets

  • HR experience would be advantageous

  • Experience in Committee or Board support is essential

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word

  • Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills
