International in their offering, this law firm with specialist expertise in litigation/dispute resolution and advisory services deliver straightforward legal solutions to insurance, corporate and public sector clients. They are seeking to add an experienced Litigation Assistant to their growing team following an increase in new business. This exciting, career progressing defendant paralegal role is focused on assisting Solicitors, Legal Executives & Partners on a range of defendant clinical negligence matters - both pre and post litigation. As you begin to work the cases you will be liaising with key stakeholders including claimant solicitors, compensators, medical experts and Counsel. Working the case you will be drafting legal documents, letters and instructions to experts. As your capabilities increase so to will your responsibilities, you will be managing your own caseloads. There will be progression opportunities to take responsibility for a caseload of litigated matters in due course.

Career opportunities like these do not come along every day and to secure this role, which will be a pivotal moment in your career you will need to have strong academics (2.1 or higher degree) or equivalent along with the 6-months experience of Personal Injury civil litigation. During this time ideally, you will have gained experience in drafting instructions to counsel/experts.
