Paediatric Support Worker

Paediatric Support Worker - Birmingham and surrounding areas

Hours - days and nights over seven days per week to work on a rolling rota

Pay Rate - £8.01 per hour

Pulse Community Healthcare are recruiting for Support Workers with a passion for helping children that have complex needs. Our clients needs can range from neurological to physical disabilities. Full specialist training is provided to our candidates, covering any interventions our clients may have. In these packages, our Support Workers will provide personal care, medication and any interventions our clients may have. We are seeking candidates who will provide a high quality of care to our young client's to improve the quality of their lives in the comfort of their own homes.

Pulse Community Healthcare is a complex care agency that provides one to one care in the community. We provide impeccable specialist training to our Support Workers to allow development in their careers via skills and knowledge.

The ideal support worker will have:

  • A diploma level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is preferred but not essential
  • UK paid experience in Health and Social Care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of wider team
  • A good understanding of professional boundaries
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and person centred care
