Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager you will be responsible for creating and maintaining rigor around the profiling within all systems used by colleagues across Customer Operations. You will be working closely with the Risk Manager and small network of AIM analysts across the business, required to be self-sufficient to ensure deliverables within the AIM plan are achieved.


  • Undertake the collation and gathering of all relevant information required to enable the execution of the annual and bi annual recertification process:
    • Prepare the recertification spreadsheets
    • Create the colleague lists of business roles, verify line management / authorisation management and submit to local AIM Authority for the production of the access authorisation spreadsheets
    • Manage the approval process with the organisational units including physical sign off of spreadsheets
    • Resolve recertification queries and mismatches with organisational units and User Management and produce the remediation action list for submission to Local AIM Authority
    • Track and complete the remediation measures and confirm completion to Local AIM authority.
    • Provide the AIM Authority with the completed annual and bi annual re-certifications for review and submission to HQ
  • Support Customer Operations with role structure and resourcing to mitigate Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts.
  • Act as the first point of escalation where an SOD conflict is detected during an access request
  • Facilitate the approval or removal of identified SoD conflicts for user or role through liaison with the AIM Authority
  • Where SoD conflicts exist support organisational units on the definition and design of relevant compensating controls
  • Work with organisational units and project teams to ensure new or changes to business and system roles meet AIM requirements
  • Functional Application Owner Management (FAO) for relevant Customer Operations applications.
  • Own the departments Business Continuity Management (BCM) plan, engaging with the necessary wider business areas to ensure remains aligned
  • Oversee the completion of I-learn modules to ensure mandatory deadlines are achieved across Customer Operations
  • Conduct the Protection Needs analysis data review to ensure maximum security of Customer information
  • Manage the leavers process for outsourced employees, ensuring accesses are appropriately and efficiently revoked where required
  • Maintain the Anti- bribery log
  • Execute core risk mitigation processes such as Asset Registrations

About you

  • A thorough understanding of the principles and associated requirements of AIM
  • A governance background within a Risk Control or Audit environment
  • An in-depth understanding of the use of risk management tools
  • Ability to understand the relevance of appropriate data and situational analysis
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of policies, standards and compliance frameworks relevant to Risk Management (e.g. COBIT, SYSC etc.)
  • Creation and management of data on Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience of financial services and/or Customer Operations systems (e.g. SAP FI/Ti/, CRM, Complaints systems)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Organised, structured and methodical worker
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills, with proven abilities in both negotiating and influencing
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and interact with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to cope under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Able to work autonomously and take ownership of actions
