News Reporter - Financial News

Our client is looking for a News Reporter to join their London-based editorial team to provide regular financial news, up-to-date and essential information for our UK-based readers.

As a News Reporter, your main responsibilities will be to source, break and write stories for this publication and website regarding product launches, investment trends, regulations development and providing coverage and analysis of the biggest stories themes of the day.

The role offers a huge amount of variation as the scope of the work includes researching and reporting the news as well as working on video interviews, presentations, roundtables, events and conferences.

There are plenty of areas for career progression within the company who have an international financial publications across magazines, websites and events in the UK, Europe, Middle East, South Africa and Asia.


Our client is after an, energetic and enthusiastic person who is keen on being a journalist, who is keen to get to grips with the subject matter. The individual will be expected to write knowledgably on investment topics, have a good eye for a story, and be able to write tight, accurate copy to deadline.

You will have at least one or two years’ experience in financial services, ideally on the investment side of the industry, and are now looking for the next step up in your career.
