What you’ll be doing
Transport residents to defined locations in a safe and responsible manner. As this role helps to support and stimulate the well-being of the residents, you will naturally support the role of the activity co-ordinators within the home. It is essential that you maintain up-to-date and accurate records of locations and mileage and report all incidents/accidents promptly to management. You will be responsible for the cleaning of the vehicle in preparation for each journey.

An area of significant historic note, Kimberworth is mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book, Cherry Trees care home is located in the middle of the community, with good access to the surrounding area.
What you’ll need
Hold a 3-day First Aid certificate or be willing to work towards
MiDAS trained and registered
Friendly, confident, well-presented and customer-focused
Satisfactory DBS Checks
Good communication, administration and organisational skills
Reliable, punctual, self-motivated and a can-do attitude
A caring disposition
To maintain confidentiality
An understanding of old age conditions
Please note Minibus drivers must have a full, unrestricted D1 entitlement on their licence.
