This role is exciting, with the opportunity to communicate in a consultative way and build long term partnerships. These partnerships will be focused within the financial sector so we’re looking for an articulate and self-motivated account manager who loves to talk on the phone and build meaningful partnerships with their clients. You will be generating sales and increasing revenues across three of our UK websites. As well as looking after your existing client base, you will be pro-active in creating and selling new opportunities for each of your commercial partners.
If you have little or no experience or have recently come out of Uni, that’s OK; we don’t actually require that much experience, for us it’s about you, your personality and your energy.
Key Responsibilities of the Media Sales Executive:
You will be managing our digital advertising revenues and actively seeking new business to help grow your client portfolio. You’ll be confidently pitching your innovative ideas to clients and build strong relationships with agencies, new and existing clients and internal stakeholders.
Developing an in-depth knowledge of the asset management industry is a must and you’ll develop a clear idea of Citywire’s role within it whilst closely monitoring advertising campaigns and content projects.
What you’ll need in becoming the Media Sales Executive:
- A degree or qualification in a relevant field
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Media sales knowledge is beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to get timely and accurate results
- Relationship building will be second nature to you and you’ll enjoy meeting people and influencing their behaviour
- Flexible attitude and able to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- Superb organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- You will be a tenacious individual who thrives on competition
