About The Role:An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager to join an established chartered accountancy practice. The role will be taking responsibility from the Managing Partner who is seeking to work towards retirement.
The role will be responsible for managing client expectations for a varied client portfolio dealing with all aspects of a client’s affairs. You will be building relationships to anticipate future business needs and ensure consistent delivery of service. You will be responsible for monitoring and achieve monthly budgeted fee targets for all members of staff and the practice as a whole. You will have an active role managing and appraising staff within the team, providing constructive and timely feedback and setting objectives to aid personal development. You should be up to date with technical changes and have the ability to recognise and deal with the impact of changes to the client portfolio.
Requirements:This senior role would suit a fully qualified accountant with broad knowledge gained in a practice environment to include Corporation tax, Personal tax and VAT. You should be able to be able to deal with all compliance issues and be able to identify and promote tax planning ideas. The successful candidate will be required to take an active part in the effective management and development of the practice including attracting new clients and influencing business growth strategy.
