An opportunity has arisen for a Secretary to join the Specialist Personal Injury (PI) team of our Cardiff city centre client
The Specialist PI department represents clients who have suffered injury either as a result of an accident, such as road traffic and accidents at work both in the UK and abroad; abuse or from a harmful product such as a medical device like a hip, limb or breast implant
This is a specialist role providing essential secretarial support to the senior partner in charge of the group and other senior lawyers. It includes carrying out specified administrative tasks, typing complex or detailed legal documents, dealing with internal and external clients, taking messages, diary management and arranging meetings
We are looking for an experienced claimant secretary with a high level of IT and typing skills to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook, coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills.
A good telephone manner, accuracy and attention to detail are essential along with a pro-active team work approach and a sense of humour
The candidate will also be self-motivated, flexible and able to demonstrate a high level of organisational skills.
