Legal Secretary

Our client in Wimborne are looking for a Legal Secretary, to work alongside another Secretary supporting her as well as carrying out Front of House duties and other administration.

This position is perfect for someone who is interested in training as a Legal Executive, this would be encouraged and supported by the Company, you would take the Course step by step over a number of years until you eventually become a fee earner in your own right.

You should have relevant Secretary experience with attention to detail, a conscientious approach and a very good sense of humour. The Company are open to training someone without the Legal experience.

A large proportion of the job is organised audio typing so ideal candidate will have previous experience of this as well as excellent typing skills. You will be supporting another Secretary to a busy Partner, sharing her workload with her and other duties will include;
- front of house reception
- answering telephone
- meeting and greeting visitors, including clients, the postman and suppliers
- catering for visitors, making tea and coffee, seating them in meeting room, directing them towards toilets and washing up cups afterwards and making sure the meeting room is tidy, lights on/off
- filing, opening and closing files and all other admin duties

The Company are a well established small Solicitors firm.
This is a full time, permanent role, Monday - Friday, hours 8.45am - 5.30pm.

Salary starting at £17,500 for candidate with limited experience, candidate with higher experience, salary is negotiable depending on ability.
