An exciting opportunity has arisen for a KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER covering a territory of M4 Corridor incorporating Swindon, Oxford, Newbury, Reading and possibly Southall/Feltham . Based on patch you will work as a member of the Sales and Marketing team for this client and is a key role with responsibility for retention and development of their most strategically important customers. The job holder will manage a portfolio of customers and will also be adept in identifying new opportunities, organically growing profitable new business across existing and new service offerings. This is a crucial role that will carry targets for retention and growth commensurate with your status and experience. You will build successful business relationships with customers. This is primarily a customer retention role, but given your experience you will also provide support and take the lead on a number of new business opportunities. You will operate purely within Ecommerce maximising opportunities for Retail, Parcels and Value Added Services in accordance with our clients strategy.
To be a successful KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER, you will need to be self motivated, a high achiever, tenacious, presentable, commercially aware and with proven skills to resolve any problems. You should also possess excellent work ethics and presentation skills.
You will also be calm, confident, reliable and show commitment with a proven track record of maintaining and growing a customer base. A proven track record of achieving growth targets with the ability to influence, negotiate and close sales opportunities is a must. The ability to generate profitable business with a consultative approach is desirable.
Ideal candidates will come from a background in Ecommerce PARCELS, PACKETS, DIRECT MAIL, PRINT or similar service related.
