I am currently working with a start-up company in the B2B gaming space, that creates free-to-play and pay-to-play games for online gambling companies and sports books.

They are currently on the lookout for a Mid-Level Java Developer to work on a fully remote basis. You will be joining a company of 15, with 5 on the engineering side of the business.

You will find yourself working on the core engineering team, where you will be helping design the system with the product team. Building backend features and contributing to the architecture, security, and scalability. You will own the full development lifecycle from aligning requirements to development, testing, and operations.

If you have experience with DevOps (AWS) or infrastructure that would be a strong bonus.

The company is working with some of the largest players in the industry such as Evoke, 888 Sports, and Jumpman Gaming.

Although the company is a start-up, they are already profitable and looking for someone to join who believes in their journey and is happy to work in a fast-paced environment.

The technology stack is: Java, Springboot, PostgreSQL, AWS, K8s and Vue.

Must have skills:

- Strong Java Development experience

- Springboot / Microservices

- PostgreSQL

- Cloud experience (AWS preferred)

Desirable:

- Previous experience in Gambling / iGaming

- DevOps / K8s

- Worked in a small to medium-sized company (start-up experience would be good)

Interview Process:

- 1st stage: 30-minute video call with CTO

- Technical Test

- Final video discussion with the CEO

Salary is up to £60,000, discretionary bonus, 25 days holiday and fully remote working.
