We are seeking a hands-on Inventory Control Manager with a deep understanding of inventory management principles and systems, and excellent human leadership skills.

  • Strong expertise in successfully developing, implementing, and measuring strategies, policies, and programs in the inventory control field.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills. Problem analysis and problem solution at a functional level.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, and stay productive under pressure.

This role will be based in Nottingham NG2 1AH, our fantastic warehouse.


  • Accountable and responsible for inventory integrity of finished goods in our UK Distribution Centre, UK/EU 3PL, and UK E-Commerce
  • Accountable for the successful execution of planning and inventory control strategies including cycle count programs, year-end inventory counts, inventory control processes, and key performance metrics
  • Responsible for assuring the UK Distribution Centre, UK/EU 3PL, UK E-Commerce is maintaining a 98% or higher item and location accuracy at the end of each quarter
  • Create SOP’s & Work Instructions for Business processes and consistently review for any updates or changes that need to be made
  • Work directly with Global Inventory Control, Finance, DC’s, Customer Experience, Replenishment, and E-Commerce to effectively resolve inventory discrepancy issues within the network
  • Manage all Customization, Localization, Reworks, B2B Return inspection, Store Return inspection, etc. processes carried out by the C&L team. Assure all activities are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage obsolete inventory within the UK Distribution Centre with internal Inventory Control ensuring all inventory is assigned to locations within the Obsolete zone with Obsolete labels applied. Complete the Obsolete inventory approval form and send it for signatures from the Department Head, Director of Supply Chain Operations, VP of Supply Chain and Finance delegates. Work with destruction companies to plan, schedule and organize pickups from the UK Distribution Centre.
  • Responsible for witnessing all physical destructions, completing the witness checklist, and retrieving the proof of destruction certificate from the vendor.
  • Manage, train, coach, and support an inventory control team of 1 person and a C&L team of 4+ persons
  • Oversee the development of an Inventory control team of 1 person and a C&L team of 4+ persons, through performance reviews, counseling, feedback, and growth/talent advising. Provide technical advice and knowledge to the team


  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel. Previous experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP required
  • People management and human leadership experience
