Job Title: HR Officer
Contract Type: Maternity Cover 12 months
Start Date: Back end of September 2017
Salary: Up to £27,000
Location: Stockton

Imperial Professionals are delighted to announce we are currently working exclusively with a Large Organisation for the supply of a HR Officer to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Support in the development of position descriptions, job adverts, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
  • Ensuring Contracts of Employment are consistent with approvals prior to authorization
  • Employment Relations
  • Assist in the resolution of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Attend Exit Interviews and report findings
  • Provide advice to employees and managers in relation to HR Policies and Procedures
  • Participate in the induction process of new employees and identify any improvements
  • Remuneration and Benefits
  • Prepare monthly payroll information, including input onto the relevant spreadsheets prior to submission to the Payroll Team
  • Conduct regular salary benchmarking exercises both with regional and industry figures
  • Policy Development and Employment Law
  • Support in the identification of any improvements and best practices required
  • Develop and update any relevant HR policies and procedures
  • Keep up to date with employment legislation
  • Training and Development
  • Support managers and employees in the annual Performance and Development Review
  • Process
  • Facilitate the graduate program, both with the recruitment and development of graduates within the Company

Requirements:

  • Employment relations issues
  • Working knowledge of Employment Law
  • Interview experience
  • HR generalist experience in a project environment
  • Experience of MS Office Packages
  • Experience of HRMS and recruitment databases
