A fast paced and rapidly growing organisation based nr Birmingham Airport are looking for a mandarin / Chinese speaking HR Manager to work with the senior leadership team to set up HR from scratch for a brand new office! Working with the site leadership team you will implement brand new policies & procedures, payroll etc all the way up to the HR strategy. You will have full ownership to drive the people agenda within the business. This will include all aspects including Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, Apprentices, Graduates, Career Progression, Reward, Succession Planning, HR MI, Senior Recruitment, Re-structuring, Culture Change, as well as the standard management of the day to day ER side of things and risk management for ET cases. This HR Manager role is based nr Birmingham Airport and paying £40,000 - £55,000 + benefits.
Reporting into the site Director forward thinking Finance Director, working as part of the leadership team and managing a HR Advisor you will work from the UK office liaising with the Head Office in China to set the overall HR strategy aligned commercial business wide objectives. You will be required to contribute directly toward the strategic development of the Human Resource function by developing a progressive, business focused strategy to meet the current and future needs of the organisation.

Taking a hands on approach, you will provide advice on ER case work including performance management and absence management as well as looking at end to end recruitment, learning & development and reward. Key focuses will include talent & succession planning, employee engagement and looking and employee branding to ensure the business attracts and retains top talent.
We are looking for a mandarin speaking HR professional who is an excellent communicator and be an excellent influencer in order to build strong relationships with your stakeholder's and to be able to challenge the leadership teams in board meetings. You will be able to identify areas of improvement and implement practical solutions in to build the function from the bottom up.
