HR Advisor with HR (HR Generalist, HR Admin, HR Coordinator, HR Assistant), part or full CIPD qualifications (Level 3 or Level 5), employment relations and HR systems expertise is highly sought by a multiple award winning games studio based in Birmingham who are the UK’s largest privately owned mobile e-gaming company! In this position, you will work closely with our HR Manager and HR team (team of 3) to support the day-to-day function of the HR department across the full spectrum of Human Resources. You will be involved in a wide variety of HR related enquiries including; managing new employee on-boarding, 1-to-1 meetings and performance appraisals, employee engagement, minute taking at formal meetings, administration (inc HR system entries, pay rises, promotions, role changes, company benefits, leavers etc), and ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to.

You will participate in the development of employee engagement relations by ensuring managers are fully informed and educated on HR best practice and legislation, monitor and advise on performance appraisals and provide a proactive and adaptable service to all employees companywide.

The role itself has been created due to huge recent business growth and as such, we are very interested in speaking with people with 2+ years’ experience in a HR (generalist, admin, assistant, coordinator) type role, that is part and full CIPD qualified (level 3 or level 5) with excellent organisational skills and a rigorous approach to their work. In addition, we feel this role would suit someone who is highly enthusiastic and career driven with a high aptitude for learning on the job, with a real desire to grow and progress with the organisation as we continue to go from strength to strength as a market leading Software Company and as a Top Technology employer of choice.

Key skills we’re looking for…

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in HR, Business or related discipline).
  • Part of full CIPD qualified (level 3 or level 5).
  • 2+ years’ commercial experience working in a HR (admin, coordinator, generalist OR assistant) type role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of HR processes (inc right-to-work checks, on-boarding, induction, disciplinary, maternity/paternity, absence management etc).
  • Experience working with HR systems and platforms (such as SelectHR).

Bonus points for…

  • Experience/knowledge of Home Office Visa sponsorship guidelines.
