HR Advisor

A hospitality company who are embarking on exciting global growth are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join its expanding team in Rugby. As the HR Advisor, your duties will be to:

- Act as the first point of call for managers seeking advice on employee-related matters.
- Provide quick, accurate advice in line with all company procedures and legal requirements.
- Support the Operations Manager in writing and reviewing company policies and procedures and associated documentation.
- Ensure all data on manual and computerised records is accurate and up to date and legally compliant.
- Conduct regular audits of employee records and provide timely reports to hotel managers to identify shortfalls and risks to the business.
- Organise and coordinate attendance on company training activities and other meetings.
- Support the development of strong communication and feedback channels with all employees through a variety of mechanisms to support employee engagement.
- Support the take up of company reward, benefit and recognition schemes.
- Collaborate actively with other members of the wider team to ensure a cohesive approach to all activity.

To be a successful HR Advisor you will have the following skills and experience:

- Degree level education and/or relevant professional qualifications preferred.
- Sound understanding of the principles of good HR practice and employment law knowledge.
- Previous experience in a similar role and able to demonstrate success in this role.
- Confident with the latest technology and able to use technology intuitively.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of human resources and payroll systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of spoken and written English.
- Previous experience in a hotel or related environment advantageous but not essential.

In return, the HR Advisor will receive a salary of £23000 - £26000 per annum.
