An exciting opportunity for an inspiring and ambitious Head of Sport and Public Services has arisen to join our Management Team and drive forward our curriculum strategy on our journey to Ofsted Outstanding.
We are looking for a driven, innovative candidate with a creative mind-set who has the ability to engage both staff, students and external partners. You will be integral in ensuring that our students receive an exceptional educational experience whilst working closely with our Senior Management, Higher Education, Adult Education and Apprenticeship teams.
With a background gained in either public services or sports or both and ideally with a background in education, however this is not essential, you will lead and manage all aspects of classroom curriculum. You will take responsibility for the strategic and operational planning of your department working closely with the Executive Director. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to further grow and develop the department.
You will ideally possess a relevant degree level qualification and have sound management experience with relevant academic and / or professional qualifications.
A teaching qualification and achievement of relevant assessor is and verifier awards is desirable, however, the willingness to achieve them within agreed timescales is essential.
