We are looking to recruit a Head Chef for this popular, fresh food village pub based in a North Oxfordshire village just south of Banbury. The pub is part of a small group with other ventures in the Oxfordshire area.
We are looking for a Head Chef for this fresh food Oxfordshire pub that has a fresh cooking background and enjoys cooking non pretentious, good honest dishes. The menu consists of all the pub classics you'd expect, cooked with love and passion. They really rely on the local trade, so offering a good all-round menu works very well.
We are looking for a Head Chef for this Oxfordshire business that is happy to take direction from the owners in relation to the food offering and improvements. They are very open minded about the Head Chef making changes but they are not looking for someone to re-invent the wheel as such.
Working around 45 hours a week, you will run a kitchen of just three chefs/kitchen assistants. During the week, the kitchen produces around 15-20 covers on a evening and then around 25-35 on a weekend.
We would also consider a Sous Chef looking for their first Head Chef position.
Salary on offer for the Head Chef role in Oxfordshire is £30-£32K, plus there are tips and a bonus system in place that will boost the role to £34-£36K.
