A busy dining pub located in the Burton Upon Trent area is seeking to appoint a Head Chef
A pub that is a popular dining venue which offers all day dining is recruiting for the role of Head Chef in the kitchen. The pub seats 60 covers but regularly serves 100+ covers at the weekend with customers attracted to the contemporary menus that feature dishes prepared with all fresh ingredients from scratch by the team of five chefs. As Head Chef you will autonomy to write menus that feature a combination of traditional pub meals and modern dishes following the latest trends. In this role you will be expected to stick to the tight kitchen budgets by managing your GP tightly and ensuring that your team work to the dish specifications that you put in place.
A strong Sous Chef or experienced Head Chef who has been working in busy, fresh food kitchens where you were able to create your own menus is required for this position. The ability to manage, direct and train a team who are working under pressure is essential. A chef who has been achieving their financial targets in their previous roles would be ideal.
