With a rich Cornish heritage, our client produces high quality pastry products that are enjoyed and loved by thousands across the UK. They are now looking for a Group Procurement Administrator to join their friendly team in Bodmin.

Within a supportive environment, you’ll have the chance to increase your purchasing knowledge whilst facilitating the smooth running of a business that’s been delighting food lovers since 1988.

As a Group Procurement Administrator, you’ll help to purchase high quality materials and resources for the best possible price.

In this key role, you’ll analyse and forecast the likely levels of demand for products or component parts to be used in the manufacturing process.

Working with suppliers, manufacturers and other departments, you’ll forecast price trends and their impact on future activities, develop your market knowledge and contacts and identify potential suppliers.

Additionally, you’ll review stock levels, process purchase orders and perform a range of administration activities.

So, does this sound like you? To be considered, you’ll need:

- Experience of working within a customer-focused team
- Previous experience of working well within a small, high-performance team
- Intermediate IT skills
- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above in Maths and English

Forward-thinking and proactive, as a Group Procurement Administrator, you’ll be a great communicator with a strong work ethic. A collaborative approach to problem-solving and an analytical mindset are also key.

A Levels or equivalent qualifications would be beneficial, but these are by no means essential.
