We are looking for an aspiring Scientific Writer to join a fast expanding and highly successful biopesticide research company. We’d be very interested to hear from recent high calibre graduates who have very strong scientific writing skills and who are interested in developing a career in scientific writing.
This company conducts research to support the development of biopesticides and other novel crop protection products; we are looking for someone to take responsibility for writing research documents and study reports. This would be an opportunity to make a real impact on this vital stage of the research; you will set up processes, systems and writing methodology, develop to the corporate writing style and to ultimately be responsible for the delivery of high-quality scientific documents.
We are interested to hear from candidates with a recent degree or higher degree in a scientific subject, proven written communication skills and a desire to focus your career in scientific writing. Subject matter training will be provided where necessary - you must have a natural flair for scientific writing, have excellent attention to detail, be able to produce accurate and well written scientific reports, be good at working to deadlines and be comfortable working in a busy, friendly and fast- growing team environment. You must be well organised, be comfortable communicating with scientists of different disciplines and have a high level of proficiency with MS Office / desk top publishing systems.
