Full and Part Time Support Workers

Silva Care Ltd are currently recruiting for full time and part time support workers to provide person centred support to a range of people across Bristol, including People with Learning disabilities, older people, People with Dementia, mental health support needs and people with physical disabilities.

The positions we are currently recruiting for are full time and part time positions, our support workers must be fully flexible with the hours they are available to work, and this will include evenings, weekends and sleep in shifts. Support workers must also hold full manual driving licenses.

We provide high quality support across a range of environments, including individuals own homes, out in the community, outreach services and short breaks services.

Silva Care are currently recruiting to meet the demand of our continued expansion. We are looking for Support workers to support mainly adults with learning disabilities in a range of environments both within the day and evenings and weekends.

As a support worker you will be expected to provide care appropriate to the individual needs of service users, this could include personal care or administering medication. You will be promoting a caring environment which empowers service users, and supports the social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of individuals.

When Silva Care Ltd recruit we are looking for candidates with the following;

  • Current Manual Driving License
  • Previous experience is desirable
  • Desirable NVQ or equivalent in Health and Social care
  • Flexibility to Work Evenings and Weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be willing to sleep in weekly minimum of 1 night per week

Silva Care Ltd have some exciting opportunities within our short breaks, supported living and outreach services. We predominately but not exclusively support Adults with learning difficulties. All our service's offer support to both our Clients and their families.

Our Supported Living and short breaks houses 'The Cherries, Station Rd, Oak Leigh, The Bramleys, The Oaks, Elm Park, New Rd, and Springfield’s’ are based in 'Redland, Filton, Lockleaze, Frenchay and Stoke Gifford’ and offer a friendly and homely environment for people staying to enjoy. Everyone staying has a room personalised to their liking and needs. Our outreach services 'North Park and South Park’ are based in 'Horfield and Knowle’ and provide support to our clients in and around the community, we offer day to day activities, guidance and support, each individual has a tailored timetable for their days with us. We also support our clients to be able to develop independent skills, Access College, Access the local community and gain work experience.

Silva Care Ltd offer a competitive salary of between £7.50-£11.00 per hour with generous enhancements.
