Financial Planning/ IFA Administrator
As a direct result of numerous large investment deals being completed within recent weeks, two opportunities have arisen to work within the administration team for one of the highest regarded Wealth Management firms in the country.
You would be working for a highly successful practice with a very loyal and well established ultra-high net worth client base.
This role represents an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and expanding firm which provides consultative services to its clients. The role offers great opportunities for development, with supported study and a defined long-term career path, for the right candidate.
The key purpose of the role will be to work collaboratively with Paraplanners and Advisers to ensure both their portfolios of private and corporate clients receive an exceptional level of service within FCA and TCF framework and principles.
You will handle new business processing of executive pensions, GPPs, Personal Pensions, life assurance and investments as well as action renewals, putting policies on risk.
You will obtain illustrations, valuations, allocate funds and investment plans from one home to another and complete administration for reviews. You will also be called upon for various other tasks by your colleagues which will vary from day to day.
Diary management, letter-writing and client management are all key accountabilities for the role in addition to answering the telephone and handling client and provider enquiries.
There is the potential for this role to develop into a Paraplanning or Leadership role later on down the line, provided the candidate is able to demonstrate strong competency within these areas.
A competitive salary will be on offer depending on experience, qualifications and performance at interview. This salary will increase substantially with completion of exams and acquisition of skills and experience gained within the firm. Full study support will be provided to the successful candidate should they wish to acquire the Diploma in Financial Planning.
In order to be considered for the role of IFA Administrator, candidates must come from a similar background, ideally having worked in a fully independent financial planning practice carrying out administration. A good level of education is a must, as is a CV with minimal job hops. You must have excellent organisation and customer-care skills, attention to detail and accuracy as the norm. You will ideally hold an understanding of pensions, investments and protection and have a genuine interest in the financial services industry.
Applications are encouraged from candidates living in Sheffield but also Chesterfield, Mansfield, North Nottingham, Rotherham and Doncaster as the office is well connected.
