An internal promotion has resulted in a gap in the Finance team dedicated to manufacturing and supply. This is an opportunity to work right at the heart of the operations;

Responsibilities include:

  • Timely and accurate completion of month end for Cost of Goods Sold and Inventory
  • Develop the preparation of balanced (financial and non-financial) monthly management reports for inventory and COGs, broadly aligned to other business units.
  • Drive the financial cycle for Cost of Goods, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, in partnership with FP&A and Business Unit Finance Directors.
  • Support local site management teams as required including being an active member of the leadership teams.
  • Ensure Pharmaceutical and Process manufacturing operational finance processes and reporting are aligned across the wider group.
  • Provide operational support to manufacturing, supply and service managers as necessary
  • Actively participate in business case development and business scenario planning for projects, provide guidance to the project owner and recommendations to the business
  • Review financial controls such as cycle counts, stock counts and fixed asset checks in support of external and internal audits in partnership with the local Financial Controllers, ensuring processes are well controlled and delivered in a timely manner and to Group requirements.
  • Continually improve the role and processes and support a continuous improvement culture in the operational areas of the business, partnering the site leadership teams to drive operational efficiency's that result in improved gross margin
  • Development of high performing team with appropriate succession plans

I require a qualified accountant with extensive experience of business partnering a manufacturing site. You will be able to evidence extensive cost accounting experience and strong leadership skills.
