External Account Manager - Telecoms - Home Based

Our client is one of the UK’s leading Telecoms businesses. An opportunity has arisen to join their company as an External Account Manager with the option to work at home. They’re looking for a person with excellent B2B Business Development and Account Management experience within the telecoms or technology sector. You will also need to have experience selling to the public sector. Your role will be both in bringing on new business and developing relationships with existing clients. This position will allow you to work from home, but extensive national travel will be required. The ideal candidate will work in telecoms.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Developing new business
  • Retaining and developing existing business
  • Management and leadership of various teams
  • Hit revenue target of £7-10m per annum
  • Create activity and financial plans
  • Nationwide travel

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience within the telecoms or technology sector
  • B2B Business Development skills
  • B2B Account Management skills
  • Experience selling into the public sector
  • A detailed understanding of purchasing frameworks
  • A strong track record of hitting targets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
