Are you an enthustic Conference & Banqueting Manager who would be willing to work a 40 hour per week contract any 5 from 7 days to join an established 4-star hotel that provides a variety of conferences, weddings & social events throughout the year.
You will be report to the Food & Beverage Manager and Hotel Manager. The successful candidate would oversee, control and operationally deliver a variety of events across the calendar year; ensuring that the very highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
You must possess a proven track record in Conference & Banqueting, weddings and Events.
Must have strong leadership skills & the ability to develop a small team.
Be flexible in dealing with work demands & changing priorities.
Possess a proven track record in providing top-class customer service.
Be proactive & work under your own initiative.
Possess a good commercial awareness
Possess a positive can-do attitude and be passionate about the hospitality industry
Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting & stock control
Must have excellent personal presentation & appearance; have very good communication & inter-personal skills; possess a clear & effective leadership style; excellent organisational & time management skills; Be highly motivated with a drive to set high standards & strive for continuous improvement; be flexible & able to work to tight deadlines Have excellent attention to detail, cleanliness & accuracy.
