We are recruiting for experienced tutors / assessors with strong backgrounds in delivering the Early Years apprenticeship standards, including Level 3 and level 5 management.
You will ensure learners have clear objectives termly to support their timely progression on each of these apprenticeship standards, as well as supporting them to achieve their Level 1 or 2 Maths and English Functional Skills diplomas where required.
Day to day, your task will be to observe, review and provide feedback on evidence produced by learners throughout their apprenticeship, supporting every learner in the completion of work-based modules, completing their end-point assessment, and meeting the needs of the qualification awarding organisation.
As a remote/home-based role, interaction with students will remotely delivered through Microsoft Teams and Teams in the main. In some circumstances where our partner employer request site visits, travel may be required on occasions.
You will take responsibility for your own fair-sized caseload of learners, supporting each of them with personality to smash through their learning journey and successfully complete their end-point assessment.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Hold a TAQA Assessor Award, either A1, D32/33 or equivalent
- Hold a PTLLS Teaching Qualification or equivalent
- Hold a recognised qualification in early years and management at level 5 or above
- Be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Hold a Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above, or hold a relevant alternative qualification
- Have experience in the delivery and assessment of apprenticeships in the workplace, with an excellent understanding of apprenticeship standards, and up to date knowledge about the apprenticeship levy
