Digital marketing is an essential function in helping to achieve the online sales performance and brand positioning for TUI Travel. The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Senior Exec to deliver new and existing marketing initiatives that drive increased volume and efficiency in core areas, and helping to deliver an online paid marketing strategy that will support both sales and brand differentiation objectives.
With day to day responsibility revolving around coordinating digital performance marketing campaigns, price comparisons and paid links you will also essentially co-ordinate the marketing budgets and help drive the core marketing projects such as attribution modelling. Dealing with external agencies and numerous internal departments, the successful individual must be a confident and succinct communicator. Digital Marketing is evolving at an incredible pace and this role will evolve with that, so the candidate must be able to adapt and change accordingly.
What you will be doing
As Digital Marketing Executive you will be responsible for the Performance Marketing campaigns for all TUI and sub brands –TUI, First Choice, TUI IE and Marella Cruises. You will be supporting the Senior Digital Performance Marketing Executive working on monthly media planning for all digital marketing channels with weekly reporting and optimisation of budgets. You will be responsible for delivering the display & affiliate channel plans, working closely with the wider team for in month optimisation. You will be working with our core agencies to ensure seamless planning process is in place, working towards strong KPI’s and monitoring our competitors to ensure we are leading the way. In this role test & learn is key and you will work closely the Creative Optimisation Executive to a/b test and optimise creative to ensure strong performance of the display media plans.
You will be supporting the Senior Digital Performance Marketing Executive to manage the affiliate performance and relationships. Your key focus will be on the Falcon (TUI Ireland) and Marella Cruises strategy, reporting and relationship management within affiliates. You will manage affiliate performance and relationships, responding to all affiliate requests. You will have ownership of content management for affiliates – facilitating all newsletters, image, editorial, banner, launch packs, events requirements. Ensuring you are working closely with our Trading & E-Commerce teams to support requirements by supplying web codes and discounts across Affiliate and Display channels.
You will be required to represent the online marketing channels to other internal departments such as trading and online merchandising on a weekly basis. In addition, a core element is collaboration with the offline marketing team to ensure we coordinate marketing plans that will deliver company objectives while also ensuring we are hitting our key KPIs. A keen eye for detail is a must as business critical data will need to be analysed and recommendations delivered for improvements in processes and efficiency.
