The Responsibilities of a Multi Drop Driver

  • Be aware of and plan in advance all routes
  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
  • To check loading items before setting off
  • To carry out daily maintenance checks to avoid any delays on the routes
  • Load and unload goods safely
  • Ensure the vehicle is returned in good condition
  • To adhere to all Driving and Logistics legislation
  • Dealing with customers
  • Collect payments
  • Ensure all customers receive their deliveries

What you’ll need

  • A Full UK Driving License (Class 2)
  • Multi-drop experience preferred
  • Up-to-date CPC certification
  • Physically fit—you’ll be lifting and moving goods
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude
